Benefits of being a member

Mission H2O welcomes new members.

Our membership year runs from June 1 to May 31 of each year.

Member Dues
Water Users/Providers: $7,500 annually
Consultants: $5,000 annually

Interested parties may join at any time for a prorated annual fee.

Membership in Mission H₂O includes the following benefits:

  • Access Expertise. Benefit from analysis and guidance on complex regulatory and legal developments impacting water resource management. Engage in dialogue with other water resource professionals with technical expertise in this field.
  • Stay Informed. Receive timely updates, alerts, and analysis on Virginia water policy, permitting, and regulatory developments, including actions by the Department of Environmental Quality, Department of Wildlife Resources, Department of Health, and the General Assembly. This includes quarterly tracking reports of Mission H2O initiates and weekly tracking reports during the General Assembly session, as well as periodic calls and alerts on issues of interest. Mission H2O also holds an annual in-person meeting in May.
  • Build Connections. Network with peers across industrial, agricultural, municipal, and professional sectors who share a stake in Virginia’s water future.
  • Support Sound Planning. Contribute to efforts that promote responsible, forward-looking water resource management across the Commonwealth.
  • Shape Policy. Participate in stakeholder processes, public comment opportunities, and legislative engagement that directly influence water supply and resource management decisions in Virginia.
